Answer:

James was doubtful that his calculations could be wrong. When he reached his hotel at 1 pm. He was quiet while looking at the star-studded sky. He couldn’t believe that any event could have happened on such a peaceful night.

Answer:

This could be done be exploding a nuclear payload near the comet. A payload is a part of an aircraft.

Answer:

Sir John was not quite sure about the safety of the earth because he was not confident that his operation will be success. So, he deferred the buying of Christmas presents till December 15 as it was 15 December that was the expected date of collision of the comet with the earth.

Science have given us so many great discoveries. Today, technology alongwith research is working on every sphere of life, from making devices to medicines of several diseases. We are also using wrong use of atomic bombs etc, which is causing bad to us only.

Answer:

Science and technology discovered gun powder and hydrogen bombs gases and other weapons of mass destruction. Instead of using energy for good causes, many people today, are inventing wrong type of destructive devices.
